Photography Competition — Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before submitting your photograph.

• 1. Submission Process
  • Submit via www.tnwec.com (a QR code is also provided on the poster).
  • Include required details: name, contact number, category, and location/date of capture (as prompted on the site).
  • Entries after the closing date (Oct 2, 2026) will not be considered.
• 2. Judging & Results
  • Entries are judged by a panel appointed by the Tamil Nadu Forest Department / TNWEC.
  • Judging criteria (typical): technical quality, originality, composition, and adherence to ethical wildlife photography practices.
  • Judges’ decision is final and binding.
  • Winners will be notified via phone/email and/or announced on official channels.
• 3. Rights & Usage
  • By submitting, entrants grant the Tamil Nadu Forest Department and TNWEC a non-exclusive license to use submitted images for promotional, educational, and conservation-related purposes (print, digital, social media) with photographer credit.
  • Entrants retain copyright of their own images.
• 4. Disqualification

  Organizers reserve the right to disqualify any entry that:

  • Violates image specifications.
  • Is found to be AI-generated, staged, or manipulated beyond basic edits.
  • Involves harm, harassment, or disturbance to wildlife.
  • Is submitted after the deadline.
